Lando Norris Edges Out Oscar Piastri in Brazilian Practice
The British driver has outscored Oscar Piastri at all of the last five race weekends.
Lando Norris just pipped fellow driver and championship contender Oscar Piastri for the fastest time in the dying seconds of practice at the Sao Paulo Grand Prix.
Norris, who seized the points lead from his teammate by just one point after his victory in Mexico City two weeks ago, beat the Australian by a tiny margin of 0.023secs.
Earlier in the session, Oscar Piastri had been the leading McLaren throughout the hour before the sprint shootout due at 18:30 GMT.
The Red Bull star, the other racer in the points battle, lying with a 36-point deficit Norris, ended up in 17th place as his Red Bull team opted for a alternative strategy.
His teammate Yuki Tsunoda was the only driver to crash, though minor, when he lost control at the fourth corner during the early running.

Aston Martin's the Spanish driver was in fourth, with Sauber's Bortoleto in front of the Mercedes of Russell and Alpine's Gasly and Williams' Sainz.
